Twitter Tuesday Week 7:)

This week we were asked to create six tweets about our animals, and the problems they face in today's society. I decided to write about animal cruelty and inhumane animal breeding. The first two tweets were curated by ChatGBT and I was so fascinated and saddened by the facts and answers it was giving me. To know that so many animals are impacted by animal cruelty and placed in shelters made me extremely sad and I can't imagine how impacted shelters must be. The other issue I presented was the impact animal breeding has on society. I always knew it was extremely unsafe and presented tons more issues, but I think just revisiting these issues made it even more real for me.

Next, we created two original tweets on articles we found on these issues. This was fairly easy as there are tons of articles about these issues. Again, I was extremely disheartened to hear all the horrible facts. It definitely was an eye-opener and made me realize how passionate I am about these issues.

Lastly, we researched two organizations that advocated for these issues. I found @peta and @AnimalEquality to be two useful resources for animal advocacy. Looking through their pages made me realize how truly important these issues are and how much they need to be more publicly recognized. Overall, this week's Twitter posts made me deeply reflect and gain a deeper understanding of the problems so many animals face. This week was an eye-opener.
