Throughout this course, I've been pleasantly surprised by the level of engagement I've received on Twitter. It's truly fascinating to come across such a wealth of amazing articles and information that I've never encountered before. I have followed numerous accounts like @DogCognitionSE and @emmanuelBHarel, which have guided me and my research thus far. Their accounts display so many influential topics that I am eager to learn more about. Witnessing the passion and connection that so many researchers have to these topics is immensely beneficial and inspiring. This will help aid my own personal research as I can go back and look at their sources provided in such an accessible place. So far, I have mainly focused on the mental and psychological aspects associated with owning a pet like a dog. I also found a research study conducted on an anti-aging drug used on animals. This honestly saddened me as the medicine doesn't take into consideration the health and psychological risks associated with preserving life that long. It also goes against the natural processes of life in which all living things will die.

My classmates have also delved into a variety of intriguing topics, such as the interactions among penguins and the fascinating adaptations of dogs that have led to their present-day forms. I'm eager to continue expanding my research and delving deeper into these complex subjects to further educate myself.
